BMW Z3 M Coupe 'Jailbird'

Originally a car driven by a police detective before the nuclear fallout, the Z3 survived after it parked underground right beneath a correctional facility.

Now driven by a junk hoarder, the car was heavily tuned with its original engine replaced with a Judd-powered V8 that is capable of revving over 10k rpm. Many of its body framework (minus the armor) utilizes lightweight carbon fibre and aluminium parts. Other parts including drivetrain and braking system were installed with Group A era DTM-spec M parts.
Just outside the prison yard was a makeshift race track, and the driver just finished his last shakedown. The locals called him 'Jailbird' for being too obsessed to the car, dedicating most of his blood, sweat and tears to the vehicle itself.

Basically the half-cut windshield was inspired from one of the drivers in the 2008 Death Race film, who drove a BMW 735i with a similar design.
