MX-5 MIATA (NA) GT PROTOTYPE

As the name suggests, this is a GT iteration of the NA Miata. Initially it sounds 'off putting' for one of the best selling sports coupe and my work bears almost no resemblance to the original Miata. This take is more of a silhouette Mazda prototype car and I'm just using the Miata as a design mule. Eventually I decided to give it a shot and make into a fictional race car. I even prepared a poor technical drawing in order to imagine what it would look like since I managed to this work 2Dimensional, at a third quarter view.

Since I wanna give this car a modern GT3-ish spec, the Miata has been converted into a mid-rear engine car running the Sky-Activ X engine (2.0 l and turbocharged) with modern aeros and headlights. Some inspired aero were taken from Super GT300 cars in order to make the car ridiculously wide with bigger arches and wheels.
